A majestic antique Edwardian daisy cluster ring from the early 1900s claw set with a synthetic oval cut sapphire weighing approx. 4.2 carats. It has an alluring, deep blue hue and is complemented beautifully by a double halo of twinkling diamond petal’s, totalling approx. 0.50ct.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The ring is a union of platinum and 18ct white gold and features a beautiful, scalloped frame and open, wire framework underneath that raises the stones high atop the finger.
It’s a spectacular statement piece, boasting a marvellous collection of precious gems with French import marks on the outside of the band that indicates it was assayed in Paris.
We recommend you insure for £3,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
