A Superb Set of 3 Early Victorian Silver Decanter Labels

A superb set of three cast silver decanter labels, from early in the reign of Queen Victoria. These lovely examples feature a shell and acanthus leaf border, with pierced names in pricked capitals. A surviving set of three is unusual and they comprise, Sherry, Madeira and rather more unusual, Burgundy. Great collector's items, with a practical use. Dimensions below

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits or dents.

Hallmarks :- Clear, readable and matching. Some losses to the hallmarks on the Sherry label, due to the location of the name piercing.

Date :- London 1844.

Maker :- Charles Reily and George Storer.
