Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Inlaid Chest of Drawers C1890

Superb Quality Antique Late Victorian ( poss. Scottish) Mahogany Chest of Drawers and dating from around 11890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a cross banded edge to the top with satinwood and ebony stringing above a cross banded frieze with fine stringing. This is above five long graduating drawers all with satinwood and ebony moulded edges with fine stringing and all drawers are mahogany lined with working key and original brass handles. It is raised on a cross banded plinth base. A superb quality chest.

MEASURES: 48” HIGH X 16” DEEPX 36” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
