The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, Equity grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 21793712 which dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison watch case company.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial is in good condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
