Fascinating and very rare mid 19th century Grand Tour verdigris bronze model of a Roman sarcophagus decorated with a bacchanalian procession on classical paw feet, after the antique. Good large size, beautiful patina, signed ''G. Nisini Roma'' to the rear. Presented on a substantial Levanto Marble block base. Rome circa 1850.
