A beautifully turned mid 18thc fruitwood spice grinder , made in two parts, the grinder and the central chamber to catch the spices in....the body has attractive finely turned ring decoration and stands on a slightly raised base.....it also has carved into the top, the initials I*I.... the grinder is in excellent condition with a really good natural colour and also visible pole-lathe marks to the underside of the base, which is always a desirable feature..!
