This is a very good Edwardian silver and moss agate napkin ring, of circular form, made by Joseph Cook and Son, Birmingham 1903. This maker is renowned for quality, inlaid pieces like this one. There are twelve, inset pieces of shaped, green moss agate, and the remainder has etched, acanthus decoration. There is a central, round cartouche with an attractive stylised monogram in classic script. This piece is in very good antique condition, with some very minor signs of use. There are no losses and no repairs. The hallmarks are clear.
