A good Edwardian freestanding mahogany pedestal desk, the top having the original diseccted Red leather tooled writing surface, a selection of 8 graduated mahogany lined drawers with original brass plate handles.
supported on 2 shaped pedestal plinth bases.
The desk in is good antique condition.
The desk originally had a wooden plinth between the two pedestals but has been removed as it would have been too low to be used for the modern person because of this there is now ample knee height and does not affect the structural integrity of the desk at all.
A really wonderful item that is both beautiful and practical.
