~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A stunning original antique French Rococo clock by Japy Frères.
To the top is a Rococo flourish of flowers and foliage. Panels backed with red fabric lighten the design.

The dial is porcelain enamel on copper with finely fretted gilt brass hands. The bezel is glazed with convex glass. The rear door is glazed with frosted glass. The clock is decorated in the round allowing you to display on a table or in front of a mirror.

The French movement is of high quality and is by Japy Frères. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is an old replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video of the clock, please ask and we will send you a link, or paste this in to your browser: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=176879175418364

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with slight wear and discolouration. The dial is also in excellent condition with no damage. We have replaced the fabric with fresh.
