A 19th century folk art slate carved chest of drawer; with later looking top above a bank od 5 faux drawers flanked by half columns, small brass handles. Pieces such as these were made by the quarrymen as gifts or to subsidise their incomes in their spare time. Carved from the solid, general usage wear. Bought privately.
