Description

An amazingly well preserved correspondence box. Made around 1900 it is a unique survivor of over 100 years, has no rips, abrasions, or over cleaning.

The hinged lid with a flush handle and a unique lock opens to a fall front with divisions for storage and 2 aid memoir. This further folds open to reveal a writing slope with a hinged compartment.
