Description

This elegant silver and mint green guilloche enamel dressing table jar bears the marks of the renowned Mappin & webb and is dated London 1947. The exquisite pale green enamel lid fitted on a clear crystal glass body incised with rectangular patterns. The inner lid with a rich gilt wash. The base star incised. Photographed on the last image with the matching scent bottle. Sold separately.

Hallmarks:

Mn&Wb for Mappin & Webb.

London Assay Mark.

Date letter "M" for 1947.

Lion Passant.

London Assay Mark.

Condition:

Excellent.

Enamel lid in excellent condition.

Glass in perfect condition. No chips or cracks.
