Tall Antique Oak Hat or Wig Stand

Description

An unusual oak hat or wig stand dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It has a square base with turned bun feet and a tall tapering stand. The stand has a turned wooden top with a flat top covered in purple felt.

It is in good condition for its age and has a lovely aged patina with a warm colour. There is a small chip on the top part of the stand but no major damages. There are signs of age and use, some small knocks and marks but nothing detrimental and it displays well.

Approximate Measurements :

Height : 52 3/4" / 134cm

Base : 7” / 18cm square

Diameter of Top : 3" / 8cm
