Description

A low chest of drawers by the sought after designer Betty Joel. This quality piece of furniture made from solid Australian walnut with two top drawers and a drawer below. The drawers with ball bearing fixings, a feature of Betty Joel’s design and an inset glass top. The designers label to the back, signed and dated 1928.

Betty Joel (pictured) designed furniture, textiles and interiors, and had shops in Sloane Square and Knightsbridge. The Studio Magazine featured her work between 1927 and 1937. Today the quality and design of her pieces are highly regarded.

All our furniture is professionally polished and restored where necessary. Our restorer has over 40 years of furniture restoration experience including 15 years living at Windsor Castle whilst working for the Royal household, so comes highly recommended!
