The octagonal body of Gothic tracery rising to finials over lancet panels, as the body chamfers into an octagonal foot, likewise with Gothic decoration. The jug mounted with a leaf decorated handle, topped with a classical mask. The underside of the jug with a Royal coat of arms and impressed 'Registered March 17th 1842, by Charles Meigh, Hanley'.
