Fine unusually small Friesland oak marriage coffer with plain top and paneled front and sides. Original iron locks and hinges and still retains candle box within. The panel to front finely carved with lady and man with name Eliesabet Verpoorth in frieze and date 17 97 at bottom corners. All in fine condition with just a little old and very dead worm. Great deep honey colour with fine waxed patina.
