A Large Georgian Solid Silver Sterling lidded Tankard
The base of the tankard is gilded
The hinged domed cover with scroll-form thumb-piece with leaf-form reverse, S-scroll handle with a heart-shaped terminal.
This is an excellent example in very good condition.
This cup holds just over 1.5 pints.
