Antique silver Omega pocket watch, c1915.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 4884397which dates it back to around 1915. The movement is protected by an inner cover.

The watch measures 48.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver, 800 purity, and there are Continental hallmarks inside both of the case backs, and the early Omega logo inside the outer cover. The movement is protected by an inner hinged which is also signed Omega, and has details of medals won at the Paris Grand Prix the latest dated 1914. The case has an engine turned back with a vacant cartouche to the centre. The case back and side have some mild bruising, nothing too serious at all.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The signed dial looks good to the naked eye but if viewed through a jewellers loupe there is evidence of old restoration work.

The watch has blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
