Frederick Scarbrough was born in 1860 and died in 1939. He was a British artist, living in London and Lincolnshire. He specialised in marine, coastal, harbour, river and shipping scenes, usually in watercolour. He often painted scenes of London shipping on the Thames. Scarbrough exhibited from 1896-1939.
