Technical Description
A large 19th-century Scottish silver and agate in the form of an ornate Celtic shield dating to 1880. An outer ring of Scottish Agate gemstones with a further central cross of agates with smaller shields all set in beautiful ornate Silver.
A superb example.

Scotland, c1880.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear. Pin to rear in working order. Some small fritting chips and one fault line to the yellow stone as shown. Silver, makers mark under the pin.
