Copeland and Garrett porcelain group, c. 1840. Charmingly observed, as a Spaniel seated, whilst one of her puppies suckles upon her, and her other puppy lies between her front legs. The hair finely detailed, and heightened with brown enamelled spotting.
Set upon a large blue cushion, with gilt tassels.
