Rare Pair of Old Sheffield Plated Loving Cups

19th century
Description

This fine pair of loving cups are made of Old Sheffield Plate and date to c1800. Both have initials engraved to the fronts representing the married couple. Both are on handmade wooden pedestals. Classically designed loving cups with additional floral detail to the top of the handles and gilded interiors.

The condition is very good overall, no dents or splits and with one tiny patch of copper bleed.

Total weight approx 1kg.
