This is a fine example of an early 19thc large teetotum made of bone, probably made by Napoleonic prisoners of war ....it is of an octagonal (eight sided) shape and numbered 1 to 8 and would have been used by the prisoners playing gambling games....it is in very good condition and still retains the original colours to the numbers.....some minor surface cracks from a long time ago can be seen in the photos, but probably happened when it was made and do not detract or diminish in any way.....it still spins perfectly as you can see from the last picture.English / French C1815.Payment can be made by Bank Transfer , all you will need are my Bank Details, which I will send you or off line by Credit / Debit card ,..... e-mail or telephone your card details (long card number, expiry date and three security digits on the reverse of the card) through to me and I will do the rest .Please quote the Internal Reference Number to identify the item you are enquiring about....thank you....
