This silver jewel box hallmarked Birmingham 1938 has a charming enamel dog portrait to the lid. This lid lifts to reveal a blue satin lined interior. There is a minor damage to the top but this does not detract from the overall charm of this lovely box.

The box would make an ideal gift for a lady or gentleman, being a luxurious storage place for either rings or cufflinks.
