A truly beautiful antique silver & enamel pill box very finely decorated with gold flowers & forget-me-nots hallmarked Chester 1910@nbsp;The body of the box is a plain polished silver, and the crowning glory is the most exquisitely decorated lid. The background is in shimmering white guilloche enamel upon which sits a central circle of blue forget-me-nots and a ring of gold flowers and stars. The fine detailing is absolutely exquisite. Inside the pill box a lemony gilt interior adds another touch of rich colour.The lift off lid fits snugly when twisted into position and the box is a very good heavy gauge of silver, lovely and sturdy.@nbsp;Condition: The overall condition is extremely good, the second part of the makers mark is worn but appears to be Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings Shepherd.
