The watch has a high quality movement and heavy gold set ruby jeweled bearings, this is considered to be one of Longines finest movements from the golden age of swiss watchmaking and as you can see it is in fabulous condition.
The watch comes with a new red presentation box to keep the watch in perfect condition.
It has a high quality brand new chestnut leather strap which looks stunning, the case is is very robust and built to last 100 years.
It has its original parchment dial.
As you would expect from Longines the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
Longines are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
The watch case measures 32mm in diameter not including the crown.
The watch has just been fully overhauled and serviced by the highly respected Omega and Rolex Agent Robert Reeves. It has been fully authenticated and found to be a genuine Longines in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultasonic cleaning process.
The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty, it would make a perfect gift or an ideal present for a man who celebrates his 60th birthday this year.
