An Early Victorian Silver & Mother-of-pearl Fruit Knife

Description

A gorgeous early Victorian example of a silver and mother-of-pearl fruit knife. This lovely piece has a beautiful shaped and carved handle, set with a silver vacant cartouche. The blade is hallmarked silver. Fruit knives are widely collected and this is a fine and early example, with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits to the blade. The handle has no chips or cracks and the blade closes well with a strong snap.
