Description

A 'Swinging Cherub' clock under the original glass dome and base. An enamel chapter ring to the skeletonised dial centre. The cherub swings forwards and backwards as a pendulum. Signed to the backplate 'Escapement Brevete'. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism. Circa 1885.
