A rare George III partners desk of a good nut-brown colour and patina, drawers on the front and back (no cupboards), the cock-beaded drawer fronts attractively veneered in one continous sheet of figured mahogany, cedar-lined drawers and many of the original 2 pin locks still present. Good original large castors - the desk can rolled easily across a room. A rare feature is the secret spring-loaded drawer in the kneehole. The desk is in 1 large section and doesn''t dismantle.
