A large 1930''s Copper Lantern with beautiful leaded glass panels. This was manufactured by G.E.C and would have originally been a street lantern but has been converted to hang as a pendant light.
This lantern will look amazing once in situ, hanging from a high ceiling over a stairway or in an entrance hall and could be used in both a country style or a more contemporary setting.
It has been rewired with a traditional style braided flex and is ready to hang from a ceiling rose.
There is no damage to the glass panels but the copper does have some really small dints as would be expected from age and it has had a repair to one of the top corners.
Height 85 cm (excluding flex)
Width 50 cm
Depth 33 cm
