A Charles I period, dark oak back stool /chair, Circa 1630-60. This chair with panelled back with twin carved rosettes, solid plank seat, raised on block and turned legs, supported by stretchers.
 
A charming old chair, in good condition, with delightful colour polish and patina, ready for use.

This chair measures approximately 91 cm (36'') tall, 44 cm (17.25'') wide, and 42.75 cm (16.75'') deep. The seat height is approximately 43.75 cm (17.25'').

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chair is in a good condition commensurate with its age. Some marks and blemishes. A couple of old, quality and sympathetic repairs, to the back of the top rail, and to the moulding around the top of the knees. Lovely aged wear. Slight losses/wear to the front feet. Very good colour, polish and patina. No loose joints. Very serviceable and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
