A Charles I period, dark oak back stool /chair, Circa 1630-60. This chair with panelled back with twin carved rosettes, solid plank seat, raised on block and turned legs, supported by stretchers.
A charming old chair, in good condition, with delightful colour polish and patina, ready for use.

A couple of old, quality and sympathetic repairs, to the back of the top rail, and to the moulding around the top of the knees. Lovely aged wear. Slight losses/wear to the front feet.
