Description

A superb french walnut commode in the Louis XV style that dates to around 1900

In fantastic original condition in a natural light satin waxed finish with brass rococco style handles and escutcheons and with its’ original key which lock the three large drawers

The chest sits on carved cabriole legs and has a marble gallery back with curved sides and shelf….this can removed if a plain marble top is preferred

There is a historic hairline crack on the left side, which is barely noticeable and does not detract from this fabulous chest

It measures 48 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 39 inches high

An outstanding piece of furniture that would grace an elegant or period home
