A splendid pair of hallmarked English silver sugar tongs with bright cut & engraved decoration along the arms, assayed in London dated 1798 made by Peter and Anne Bateman. These beautiful silver sugar tongs are in excellent overall condition measuring 5 ½ inches long and weighing 29g.
