Description

Two store boxes of particular interest to entomologists. Made for j.j.walker, james john walker, 16.5.1851 to 12.1.1939. Walker was a marine engineer. Walker collected all over the world and his collections are shared between the british museum and the hope department, oxford university museum.

These polished deal boxes were made to his order by messrs j.t.crockett of cavendish square, london.
