Victorian Rosewood Vaniety Box With Beautiful Inlay.
A exceptional example of a Victorian Rosewood vanity box dating back to c.1860. The box is in a beautiful piece of rosewood featuring a beautifully decorative mother of pearl and abalone inlaid design to the top and front.
The box is complete with a working lock and tasselled key.
Open the box to reveal the beautiful original fully fitted interior, With the original blue velvet interior the box has a stationary rack to the back of the inside lid.it has several sections featuring two cut glass bottles, four silver plated bottles two small and two large all in amazing condition.A long silver plated glass jar and four vaniety tools with mother of pearl handles. Lift the tray out to uncover a section to store jewellery and pull the pin out to the side to reveal the fitted side drawer.
An absolutely stunning box in superb quality and condition measuring 26 x19 and stands 17cm high.
