A beautiful Georgian D-shaped or demi-lune side table in mahogany, c1800, with a central frieze drawer and blind drawers to each side bearing the original oval plate handles. The table stands on tapered square legs and has an excellent colour and patina.An understated yet beautiful proportioned piece of furniture made from nicely figured mahogany. Although I have described it as a demi-lune table, it is more accurately �D-shaped� as it isn�t a perfect semi-circle but has a flat area between the two forelegs.Condition: One of the handles has a small area of damage, and there is a repaired area of veneer under the drawer. The top has age and use related marks, but has such a nice patina that we didn�t want to risk loosing this by attempting to remove the marks, so have elected to leave them as they are. There are a couple of scratches and marks to the legs.
