Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The frieze flanked by a pair of alcoves, within which stand classical maidens. The alcoves supported by rope twist columns, finished with rounded caps and bases, enclosing the rectangular plate, the frame finished to the lower edge with a concave and convex profile mould, flanked by the column plinths.
