Edwardian Mahogany & Inlaid Triptych Cheval Mirror

Description

A good quality and unusual Edwardian mahogany and inlaid freestanding triptych cheval mirror. The dentil and moulded cornice above the mirror supports which are inlaid with satinwood cross banding between boxwood and ebony stringing leading to the out-swept shaped legs which retain the original brass casters. The large central bevel edged mirror set within a conforming mahogany inlaid frame and tilts via brass fittings. The hinged side mirrors again inlaid with brass fittings and all mirrors are plate glass and bevel edged. The mahogany polished back with further satinwood banding. Condition very good with very slight foxing but nothing serious and fully ready for use in the home or salon. Delivery to most of U.K. £75.Dimensions:- Height…70’’/ 178cm.
