Regency Tole Tea Caddy

Description

A Regency Tole Tea Caddy.

With a hinged lid, shaped in concave profiles, the concave rising edges, and dished centre decorated with gilt flowers and spreading leaves. The rim with gilt edging. The body tapering in a curve to the base, again with gilt edging, enclosing floral decoration. The caddy standing on brass ball feet.

Date circa 1820.
