Mahogany Single Door Wardrobe C.1880

Description

Very handsome late 19th.c. French mahogany wardrobe c.1880. Long door with original full length dressing mirror. Fitted inside with three adjustable shelves (internal depth 14") plus a single slim drawer in the base. Simple uncluttered design with a crisp moulded cornice, raised mouldings around the mirror and door and a moulded plinth, otherwise free of almost any applied decoration. Solid mahogany sides. Note the mahogany panel to the rear of the door and the original large brass lock. Some very minor scratches to the mirror plate, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
