A Stunning Victorian Period Amboyna, Kingwood and Ebony Bonheur De Jour

Description

A stunning Victorian Period amboyna, kingwood and ebony bonheur de jour. The upper section having a brass gallery above twin panelled doors, each with fine quality sevres plaques. Having ormolu mounts and mouldings flanked by cast figures of Classical English poets Shakespeare and Milton. The doors opening to reveal a velvet lined interior. The lower section having a finely turned and carved columns with incised gilded detail, with two lower shelves also with brass galleries, veneered in amboyna throughout with kingwood banding. English circa 1870 in the French taste.

Dimensions: 55" high x 16" deep x 30" wide
