19th Century Copper Weathervane of a Cockerel

Description

This is a great piece of folk art. Genuine 19th century verdigris green copper weathervane in the form of a cockerel. It is a great decorative size and is mounted on a later but well crafter metal base. The patina is superb but what I love is the pellet bullet holes in the tail as its very telling of its time on a barn roof. A great talking point.
