Gents 9ct gold Vertex Revue wristwatch.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Vertex Revue and also has the the logo for G Thommen, owner of the brand name Vertex Revue.

The watch measures 30mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30mm high excluding the lugs. Originally designed as a man’s watch, today it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is 9 carat gold and it is hallmarked inside the case back for Birmingham 1965 together with the Vertex name and the also the case maker’s initials, ALD for the Birmingham based case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition just some unevenness to the back of the watch.

The back of the watch has a long service inscription from The British Oil & Cake Mills Ltd.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, all in beautiful condition.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
