Beautiful late 18th or early 19th century painted patch box. A very pretty patch box or beauty spot box is painted with floral patterns and designs on the exterior as well as the interior. Makers mark the base. The hinged lid fits well, and the box is offered in very good condition. It would make a lovely stocking filler for any collectors of fine early boxes.
