French Art Deco Ceiling Light by Degué (David Gueron, 1892 - 1950)
A classic Art Deco Ceiling Light signed Degué and marked 710 on the rim.
Gueron was a glass artist and the owner / founder of the Verrerie d''Art Degué factory in Paris that produced many ceiling lights and vases in the 1920s.
This domed frosted glass shade depicts floral motifs over the four descending glass layers.
In very good condition with its original rope hanging and wiring (tested and in working order). There is just one tiny chip to the top of the shade rim which is barely noticeable when hung - please see photographs.
Fitted with a 60W bayonet light bulb. As with all electrical items we recommend having them tested and fitted by an approved electrician.

Should a piece need importing from France, the price is DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to include shipping, UK import VAT and customs clearance; there are no hidden costs. We ship larger pieces with specialised transport couriers and smaller pieces with FedEx or the post. We take great care in ensuring that our pieces are well-packaged for transport. Deliveries take on average between 10 days and 3 weeks (possibly longer, depending on your location, times of year and any other factors).
