Description

An exceptional quality Sheraton period antique chest of drawers with beautiful figured book matched mahogany to the four graduating drawers adorned with original brass rope twist handles and brass key escutcheons.

The 'D' shaped chest of drawers has lovely figuring throughout with kingwood and purpleheart crossbanding and boxwood string inlay and edges. The inlaid corner columns imitate inverted fluting which terminate to elegant vase shaped feet.

The top drawer has been re lined in baize and all the mahogany and pine lined drawers retain their original brass locks which also come with a key.
