Rare Victorian Silver Mounted Millefiori Glass Scent Bottle, Circa 1890

Description

This is a fabulous and very unusual Victorian silver mounted millefiori glass scent bottle. The globular glass body in hues of green, white and red. The hinged silver lid embossed with flowers. The inner lid with place gilt wash. The neck fitted with a clear glass stopper.

Hallmarks:

Lid unmarked but tested as silver.

Dimensions:

Height: 8.5cm / 3.4 inches.

Diameter: 7cm / 3 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

Glass in the inner neck in good condition, no cracks.

No holes to the lid.
