Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this piece to the 1920s.
At the ‘north’ and ‘south’ of the centre stone are two rubover set old cuts, also ‘floating’ within kite shaped voids. A further twelve eight-cut diamonds are set within the finely vented and milgrained surround, with ornamental scroll detailing in the undergallery. On a slender platinum shank.

Cut – The three larger centre diamonds are old European cuts. The smaller diamonds in the surround are eight-cuts.
Colour – The old European cuts are E to F. The eight-cuts are F to I.

Clarity – The old European cut are SI1. The eight-cuts are VS2 to I1. All the stones are clean the naked eye.
Carat – The centre is approximately 0.50 carat, with a further approximate 0.30 carat in the surround.

Circa – 1920.
Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 20 x 13.5mm and sits 3.5mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
