Art Deco 0.25 Carat Old Mine Cut Diamond Pendant, Circa 1915

1900 - 1920
Description

A very pretty and utterly wearable vintage diamond pendant. The top diamond – which is fixed to the fine 16 inch trace chain – weighs approximately 0.20 carat and is rubover set in yellow gold collet with a milgrained platinum setting edge. A slightly larger (approx. 0.25 carat) diamond hangs from the top diamond, lending this classic piece subtly dressy flair.

Cut – Old mine cuts.

Colour – H.

Clarity – SI1.

Carat – The bottom diamond is approximately 0.25 carat, the top is approximately 0.20 carat.

Circa – 1915.

Measurements – From the top of the top diamond to the bottom of the bottom diamond is 9.9mm.

Metal – The chain (which is a later replacement) is hallmarked 18k yellow gold. The pendant is 15k yellow gold with a platinum edge around the diamonds (tested).
